Meet Kira!

Kira (meaning Sun in ancient persian) is a wonderful, sweet, one year old yellow beauty.

She loves to play with her four foster brothers and sisters. Together they chase balls, pull the rope, stare at the passing squirrels or simply rest in the warm sun on a winter morning. Kira is very smart, a great observer and a fast learner of good house manners as well as of fun games.

She is house trained, sleeps peacefully at night on her assigned pillow, walks well on the leash and knows to wait for her turn at breakfast and dinner time. In her spare time, she loves to "blend in" with her cat friends, with whom she is very gentle, to ride in the car, walk in Texas State Parks or simply cuddle with kids she meets on her walks. Kira is now refining her natural retrieving skills and building up her "etiquette" knowledge.
